#1 best haircut advice right there - take a photo in with you of your desired cut.

@hoozah - I like the middle pic best because it balances out your face. You look a bit harsh with all the forehead showing in the other pics.

What kind of product will help me accomplish this look? I can make my hair do this with a variety of gels, but they always leave it looking terrible greasy and a bit too rigid. It's possible that my hair is simply too thick to do this.

    Thanks!

Really need a new hairstyle. My hair is obnoxiously thick, and I've yet to find a product that can hold it in place without giving it that rock-hard shiny look. I've tried Crew pomade and fiber, Aveda putty, Garnier shit, etc. and nothing seems to work. My head (not face but my head itself) is egg shaped and the crown area at the temple is about two inches narrower than the point behind my ears. It can't be parted left to right, only right to left. The photo was taken after getting out of the shower, but usually that's how I leave it because I've yet to find a different look that works. Typically the sides lay flatter than the pic shows.

What options are good for my face/head shape?

I like the first one. Any idea what the name of that style is or a link to photos I could take to my stylist?

Download Faststone capture and you can take screen caps http://www.portablefreeware.com/download.php?id=775

Or if your portable communications device has internet access, just show her the video.

I'm down to the remnants of my Sumo Wax. I really like the hold, but prefer a matte finish. How is the hold of Sumo Tech compared to the wax?

Hair is always short and I've begun my quest into the world longer hair for the first time ever.

    Stay short or go long?

So do people seriously blow dry their hair and apply product every day?
