Has Helmut Lang quality gotten better? Ever since plokhov took the reins everything ive felt was plasticky and thin. Bad fabrics, made in china, for lots of $$

Like a year or two back people have stopped recommending Helmut for the exact reasons you mentioned. I have avoided them completely ever since then. Designs themselves are also boring and uninspiring to say that least

I'm a big fan of the sweaters (fit is perfect for me and the fabrics are nice imo), and a pair of their black jeans have become my go to. I have a couple button downs, nice but nothing special. Outerwear is iffy but not terrible. Retail price on all of it is too much but on sale I'm a fan, and almost everything can be found at a pretty good discount

I have a couple button ups I like I got at the sample sale but for like 40$ they are alright. I've found some to get discomfited quite quickly which is a drag
