1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Cheers,

I'll continue to suggest these GoRuck bags, not 100% waterproof (like, the inside will get wet if you drop it in a lake) but very well-made bags. I like mine better than the Veilane Nomin, which I was also considering..

I have a mission workshop and I am incredibly hard on it (college student) and its the only backpack I trust with my laptop in the rain and the only bag I trust to either stand up to the abuse or be replaced by the manufacturer. Plus it looks incredible and holds all the things.

They're reasonably weatherproof, though? I was thinking about getting one of their laptop bags, and I'm always paranoid about my computer getting ruined if I get caught in a sudden downpour.

I've literally worn it in a typhoon and my laptop stayed completely dry - for everyday use, they're essentially weatherproof.

Nothing against you nicely, you're awesome, but I totally don't trust anything short of guaranteed waterproof. It's just not worth the neurosis to me. Like all things though, for everyone else, YMMV.
