You're probably right. I just think it's a lot of money to pay for boots that are essentially mall brand level quality. Can't put a price on the styling though.

Anyway i've talked enough about shoes ITT, I think you all know my opinion.

While we're on the subject, i got those blanc & noir side zips on sale and may let them go for the same price. Any size 40-41's interested, let me know.

Nah, they're different. This and this is the chunky (well, chunkier) ridged sole that extends past the leather. This and this is what I consider the classic mmm sole; it doesn't extend past the leather. Small difference, but changes the silhouette significantly.

fwiw the black boot in my last post was too big, but the green boot fit perfectly. both were 42.

highly recommend rokin side zips. the ones i have look quite similar to margielas and can be had for ~$200 CDN on sale. worth spending even more than that, imo.

I think I may follow you up on those as my next big purchase! What type of stitching did you pick for your boots? lightweight? covered?

I have the cinch-back pants in that fabric, they're a little more streamlined and don't have patch pockets or the side striping. that said, they're my go-to summer pants and keep me cool so someone should jump on these. I was surprised when they didn't sell the first time around.
