Well basically anyone selling Givenchy Rottweiler stuff on ebay is probably selling fakes - especially this long after they originally came out. Furthermore if you look through his stuff it's lots of clothes that would be ideal to fake (Rick & Givenchy). He does a good job of trying to make it seem like he's only got one of each piece, but even when people buy stuff he'll often put up another auction for the same thing. He also lets you choose your size after auction is over. He's from Quebec (Montreal surely) which pretty much seals the deal. Oh, and in his titles he puts the word "Authentic" - that's the first clue.

Just curious, but why does Montreal mean anything?

The best is when the auction includes something along the lines of "guaranteed authentic or double your money back". Good luck collecting on that, as if some scumbag slinging fakes on ebay is going to say "ok you got me, it's fake, I just sent 2x the purchase price to your paypal account."

    BS^

If I'm selling real stuff, I always put something along the lines of 'Guaranteed authentic or 100% your money back'.

How does that scream fake? That's silly, some buyers like seeing that.

I think the point is if the seller is trying really really hard to convince you something is authentic, it's probably not. "Guaranteed authentic..." is fine, and I agree that it's reassuring. "...or double your money back" is the worrisome part because it reeks of BS

Whenever I see 100% AUTHENTIC, first thought is that it's fake

So if he says '100% FAKE' your first thought is that it's real?
