1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Ya but it's slate blue velvet, other lanvin is a light rose colored (slight sheen) linen/cotton two button notch back when lanvin was good /fuuma

Also have a comme hd faint chalkstripe charcoal wool body with blue satin shawl lapel.

Also have that deep purple prorsum dinner jacket but it's black satin peak.

    Swag out your next generation.
Props for passing on excellent items for excellent prices man.

Might be passing through Brisbane (and various other cities) beginning of next year. I'll hit you up if you're not on your honeymoon.

Yeah its pretty funny, I just try to pass on good deals to others as Ive had done to me, feel bad trying to rip people off over jawnz, should be celebrating swag with dem bottles on the ice, not knife fighting over alpaca.

Pretty funny though, quite a few people still try to low ball

"Hey man I know you want to get this sold before your wedding so how about I take your new with tags rafstro's off you for like 160 dollars + shipping??? Good deal lol!"

    Haha.

I find it funny now, but when I'm actually low on cash those offers are quite annoying. Really cynical almost - although some people seem genuine and are just throwing it out there cos that's all they got on the off chance. But they're usually more honest e.g. "hey man this is all I got" as opposed to "yo I saw that jacket NWT for $50 i'll take it for $75" and you're meant to feel like you're getting a good deal.

That said I almost always used to make offers of about 80% asking price.

Haven't bought anything on B&S for a while now though.

The worst is the massive swathe of Canadians (sorry for generalisation but its true) who DEMAND that everyone else takes massive shipping costs on the item and still want to 'offer a deal' for stuff that they can never ever ever buy in thier own country for the prices I have

It cost me MORE to send to Canada then to countries IN THE ARCTIC CIRCLE

Interesting. The most grating lowballers who have knocked on my door have also been overwhelmingly canadian. Tempted to list their names because fuck them.

I felt really bad because I hope people dont think I hate Canadians, I love them, its just something about this site and shipping to Canada, people always think Im trying to rip them off or something, I guess they dont really understand how much the shipping is.

For what its worth shipping from Canada to Australia is almost as painful. It was the worst back in feb with AUD 1.10 to the USD, which meant canadians would pay in USD and then I'd convert and get raped because then shipping was like 85 USD lol

I love how your knit list only includes baller knits because I know you at least have a navy OL chimney cardigan laying around somewhere, probably lining your dog kennel or something [IMG]. Sadly, behind my ervell alpaca pocket sweater, that's my most baller knit :/

I'm astounded that people are still trying to haggle with Razele over those prices. I'm a relatively impoverished chap and even I never considered asking him to shave anything off of the asking price.

^That's been styleforum of late. I've gotten a $200 and a $250 offer on my Crocketts.

Sure, I'll hook you up with a BNIB pair of hand grade C&J for cheaper than Allen Edmonds. :brick:

It might be fair market price but $180 for a pair of dirty beat plain sneakers makes me want to throw up lol(not that I'm interested, just a side comment).

I get a lot of buyers who offer significantly under my asking price shipped. Assuming they're in the US, I haggle with them and come to an agreement on the price. Finally, after giving them my paypal and asking for payment, they're like, oh yeah. I'm from Canada, does that make a difference? :fu: Usually by this point, I've already lowered my price a bunch, so of course I ask for compensation for the extra shipping charges. Then I never hear from them again. :fu: :fu:

I think my best offer was $125 for a NWT Stark, as buyer proceeded to tell me that since I already purchased the item it was second hand and not new, and also that an XL stark fit like a M so my M couldn't fit like the measurements I posted. Pretty sure buyer was in Canada but I'm too lazy to look up the PM.

And then there were the people who wanted me to cover costs for Porter sale items as if I was obligated to offer free shipping as Mr. Porter had.

I usually pay full price or offer 85% or 90% on price if I'm unsure about seller. But that's how b/s is these days, usually I'll post for two weeks then move to eBay. Stuff sells in hours usually just have to pay those damn eBay fees. Have to add shipping fees too since buyers can't be bothered to read: "Shipping is free with buy it now, $xx for best offers." Had buyers refuse to pay because of this.
