Hey Platypus, thanks for posting my Gustavo Lins sales thread. I was going to start a thread here eventually.

His stuff is definitely not cut super slim but more generous. I find the designer's usage of leather trimming subtle and the hook-eye closures very clean and sleek. His fabrics are on another level.

Sipang, you'd fit into a size 3 in most of his stuff if you're a 50.

L'Ã[IMG]claireur carries GL, I posted in a thread about the brand on SZ but it was a few yrs ago so I don't remember if stockists were listed...

Sipang: There is def. 50/52 sized stuff. It is sized on a 0 to 5(?) scale, but I'm not sure where a 50 would fall. The stuff is cut fairly large as fuuma mentioned. From the limited selection I've seen online, everything has been too big for me. As for stockists, the only one I can think of that puts pieces up online is Why-lip

Sipang, you'd fit into a size 3 in most of his stuff if you're a 50.

Thanks everyone. Definitely need to check GL out.

I didn't even realize "leather trim" was a Gustavolins signature, most of what I see on eBay/Sufu (outerwear and accordion bags) is all leather, and I figured it was primarily a leather goods maker like Hermes started out.

^I don't see GLs use of leather trims gimmicky since, I feel, they are not used in an overt way.

I feel it is a gimmick.

i'd snap these up if I wore an 8C. ET Wright Arch Preserver shoes, $35 starting bid. It's worth asking the seller how new these 'new' condition shoes are. Pre 1990-ish, these were American made and really great quality. I found a pair of their vintage longwings recently, and they're great shoes; well-made and very comfortable.

Ends this morning about 8:30 AM central.
