I'm also digging the red chore coat, and I actually enjoy the price discussion on here. Unless you can live without making any cost-benefit analysis, it matters. And if you live without having to be strategic at all about buying things, then your opinions are very likely boring.

I've found with Drake's that after buying a couple of overshirts and suede boots (all which I adore), I haven't been able to make the leap into purchasing anything else. Some items are tempting here and there. I've considered adding a blazer at some point, and I likely will. I'm curious about their OBCD because so many people swear by them. I like the fleece, and I think they are unique although still hard to justify. The reality is their pricing overall seems more and more obscene even as they move into more pedestrian items.
IMO Drakes’ OCBD is *the* quintessential OCBD of the era we live in. The collar shape is unique and perfectly executed.
Sadly for me to get a sleeve length that works I’d have to size up too much or go MTM. Not worth that. But worth the $145-165 you can get them for during the archive sales.

I like them. Easy to buy a few during the archive sales. Step above Kamakura.
Good to know. I just bought my first Kamakura from the Vintage Ivy line with Jason Jules. I picked up the blue blazer stripe and really love it.

The Kamakura shirts are nice but find the length and button placement a bit short unless you wear quite high-waisted trousers.

Agree with @mossrockss, Drakes OCBDs are great. Combination of the collar shape, interlining etc. perfect.
That said, they are on the pricier side, so sales are the way to go.

Kamakura vintage come pretty close to Drakes for a nice collar roll and other details.

Does Drake's have a MTM program? A web search indicates there may have been the occasional MTM offering at trunk shows long past, but there's nothing on their web site to suggest it's available today (or if there is, it's well hidden).

Yes they do. I got a MTM overshirt from them last year. they generally like you to go into the shop but in my experience will do it over the phone as well.

What fabrics were available? Only ones on site or others too?

LOL yes, I was, admittedly, thought a button was missing. It makes it so that I can't wear the shirt untucked, but mostly works if tucking in for me, even in simple 501s.
