After having missed out everything I wanted on round one (brown cord suit, blue a1 etc) , I just went a bit crazy on their OCBD range. I’ve had great experiences with these shirts and just bought 6 more. Should keep me in shirts for a while!
I ordered 2 OCBDs for the first time, but your post makes me more optimistic that it’s a good investment. Had some immediate buyer‘s remorse ?

They’re really great and unlike anything else on the market that I’ve found. In the sale they’re the right price too.
Reason I love them are theyre great with and without a tie, and the slightly lower collar works great under jumpers - much better than my bespoke button downs .
Their cut is a bit more English or perhaps more Ivy League than what many associate with a button down, meaning a little more casual, laid back and very slightly scruffy but in a very cool way too. You’re less likely to be asked why you’re dressing up yet retain a put together smart elegance.
If you’re looking for that laid back Ivy feel, I’m confident you’ll be happy. If you want a bit sharper / Italian feel, it might not be right.

I think that was a great summarisation of everything Drake’s offers, honestly.

I like the best of both worlds, English and Italian. But with regards to what I am looking for in OCBDs, your kind description is nailing it down - thank you so much for sharing your experience. Great to see how passionate people are about this!

I was able to get the difference refunded after the price drop on the Aran knit but proceeded to put the money right back into Mark Cho's pockets by buying this scarf.

I had this issue once ordering from Canada. The price you see on the website is all inclusive so you've already paid for taxes as well. Email Drake's and they will sort this problem out for you with UPS.

Thanks for the heads up! I have written to them!

The last couple of days I've also picked up:

2x the Aran knits (light blue and brown)
2x argyle jumpers (navy and green)

Can't say no at the reduced prices

Quick question - how do the overshirts fit? I’m a 40 in jackets
