New look book is up. All of the model shots are in a studio, so not sure if the palm beach angle really works for this one. I get that it’s setting a mood, but what I liked so much about their destination images was a feeling of place with the clothes (Lisbon especially).

Thank you! The fabric is really something, both a bit perky thanks to the speckles yet deep and discreet nonetheless. Quite thick too, really can't think of a better one for chilly weather.

Have loved every Drake's lookbook ... except this one.

That said, didn't stop me from ordering my very first Drake's MTM sport coat - the slubby brown tussah silk they have on offer is unlike anything I've been able to find anywhere (Holland & Sherry's Dupioni book is too shiny and even in comparison, for example) and they had enough for a jacket.

I wouldn't be surprised if, of all the suits Drake's has ever produced, this one would go down in history as the most difficult to pull off (to say which is of course by no means to suggest pulling it off hasn't been achieved on the photo at hand.)
