Looking forward to visiting the Drake's pop-up at the upper East Side Armoury in two weeks
I'm going to be in NYC in 2 weekends. I was planning on going to the original location. Maybe I should go to the UES if time permits.

Crosby store has been closed for a few months now so UES is only place to view the items.

I contacted the Armoury and they said I will see more Drakes and Real McCoys on the UES

It's just the UES is totally out of the way since I never actually go to the UES whenever I visit NYC.

I usually head up there for one day and visit a variety of retailers, restaurants and galleries but I'm told that so many of the interesting specialty shops have now closed and all that is left are the big international fashion brands for the most part. There are still enough to make a long afternoon enjoyable.

I'm also headed that way next month as well. Do you have a list of shops you're planning to hit?

Nice stuff. You might want to post it here
I will, just thought this might be of interest to some of the people on the thread.

First jacket from Drake's. After owning a few ties, taking a big jump into the rabbit hole :D

I will be staying in the Village for a week and will hang around there and mid-town for a few days- J Mueser, Leffot, No Man Walks Alone, RRL, Jay Kos, Paul Stuart, the downtown Armoury, etc., and then a day or so on the UES De Corato, RL Mansion, Bergdorf, Peter Elliot and the Armoury. Will also be shopping for a watch for my son who lives in NYC.

I have the mythical forest scarf in navy. I think it is beautiful, but I am not quite sure how to pair it or wear it

How do you guys tie/wrap (not sure about the terminology) it? And do you use it only with suits/sport coat combinations and overcoats, or more casual as well?

Hard to beat this easy way to tie any scarf. The patterned scarves look great with a solid colored crew neck or cardigan.

I have that scarf as well. I wear it with all sorts of things: suede jackets, overshirts, even shawl collar cardigans.

I usually do the method shown by @Gus above, but this also works (although it's a bit more of a "look")

From a few months ago, also tied in the manner Gus displayed. It’s a navy dominant color scarf which complements many clothing styles and colors. I wear it casually, and with sport jackets and ties without feeling self conscious or standing out too much.
