1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Drake's tumblr informs me that they will have a few pairs of St. Crispin's in stock at Clifford St. Anyone know how much they're asking?

I bought one at the recent sale. Fits like a glove, high arms holes, slim fitting in the chest but not too generous or tight, nice MOP buttons, very soft fabric and not too long in the body either. The one I got had a nice spread collar and 2 button barrel cuff. Overall a very nice shirt, I have worn it a few times and I think it either shrank a little or I got fatter, most probably the latter! Will try to post pictures soon. also, there isn't any handwork that I could see...

However, you should know, since Drake's purchased the Rayner & Sturges factory, they will be producing shirts in England from next year as opposed to having them made in Italy. So the shirts you're buying now, won't be the shirts that are available when the new collection is released.

I was recently at Leather Soul in Honolulu - a fantastic store - and they had a bunch of Drake's ties on sale for $95 USD for those who are interested. I picked up a few.

I have a Drakes scarf I recently bought from Unionmade, when it arrived the colour did not really suit the rest of my clothing, hence I am selling it HERE
    Thanks

I just found out that Drake's is owned by The Armoury. I did not know this.

It's not really owned by The Armoury, it's more like The Armoury and Drake's are owned by the same people. The Armoury remains a completely separate business.

Is the factory store a permanent thing?

Are they selling seconds or just things that haven't otherwise sold?

    How do the prices compare?

Basically I'm just trying to work out if it's worth stopping by.

Yes it is a permanent thing, I think it is in place of the sample sales they have every now and then. Also, since they just got the new building, it is just part of that as opposed to having to rent a place every now and then. Makes sense to me....

I didn't see the prices on everything but the ties were £65, cashmere scarves were £125 and there sport coats were around £650...

The items there are definitely from a few seasons ago, but there are a few basic items there that you'll see every season.

I think it's definitely worth stopping by.
