Does the measurement include the waistband?I haven't bought trousers from Drake’s for a couple of years. The new measurements have the rise at under 10” on a 34. Surely that can’t be right? The older trousers had a fairly full rise. Can’t anyone with recent experience advise?
Does the measurement include the waistband?
That could be it. As you say, it’s a bit daft, and it still seems short. They used to describe the rise as “extended”, but they now use “mid rise”.It's unclear from their size chart, but I assume not. Which, that is a dumb, European practice.

Is this confirmed?the change of tailoring maker has been a step back
Is this confirmed?
Maybe not officially confirmed but afaik their stuff is made by Lardini now, used to be Belvest.
Seems odd to get hung up on labels when Drake's is re-branding everything. Has anyone compared Drake's tailoring from Belvest, Caruso, and Lardini to determine if there is in fact a difference?
