A couple bottles of Sancerre ought to work.

That reminds me, I need to get some today.

Duckleg confit, taters done in duck fat, Brussels sprouts oven baked.

Halp, wine matches? Cali Pinot? I might have one or two CdRs ready to drink (07 La Crau?).

Seriously though... Have any Oregon Pinot? Something c. 2004-5?

Oldest Oregon I have right now is an 06. Have some various makers using Shea grapes, have several Chehelam ones too. Had a nice, mature Beaux Freres but it's gone.

Maybe an extreme north Sonoma? Peay?

Hai Guiz:

In lieu of answers, I've made my own choice. 07 Claypool Cellars PN. Had a bottle of this in Healdsburg with Kyle and Mrs. Piob. Kyle and I both had some kick ass duck leg confit.

I'll chip in and suggest something rather coarse. I don't know what you have, but I'd prefer a rustic wine with confit rather than a pinot.
