I think what I enjoy the most about DWW’s writing is that sometimes you don’t even realize you’re reading an article about clothes and just get immersed in the storytelling. And then you get advice on how to pull off fits at the end.

I have to agree with this.
Where your common or garden menswear blogger might begin "once upon a time, well dressed men aspired to dress like the king of England, but now take inspiration from the working class" @dieworkwear's opening might be something like "On a summer morning in 1215, an obstreperous band of noblemen rode to a park outside London, where after years of nearly open rebellion they presented a document to King John. This was the Magna Carta, the first crack in the armour of the divine right of kings....", progressing through a digression about Coco Chanel getting rich ladies to dress like servants, and finishing up at the bottom of the page with a double picture of @UrbanComposition in a suit on one side and in workwear on the other.

Can anyone recommend a dyeing service? I have a light blue cotton jacket I'd like to turn navy and don't want to attempt myself.

I’m looking for some lounge type pants that I can wear around the house but also outside. Something with some visual interest pattern wise. So far I have my eye on the drawstring pants from L.E.J. I also liked DBF’s drawstring offerings but sold out in my size.

Any recommendations are appreciated!

I've been on a similar search for the last few months. Other folks have sent you some solid suggestions so I'll try not to duplicate.

My favorite drawstring pants so far are the seawool "easy chinos" by Wallen that Huckberry sells: https://huckberry.com/store/wellen/category/p/69608-seawool-easy-chino

They're made of crushed oyster shell + poly but they have a really nice hand feel to them, like a brushed merino or similar. The pattern isn't that "interesting" per se but the cut is smart and these definitely have the feel of "indoor lounge pants" that you could wear outside without anyone batting an eye.

Personally, I got these and the Apres pants that someone else mentioned and while the fabric on the Apres were more interesting, I didn't like the feel/fit as well as the Wellen chinos.

Can I ask for opinions on a black corduroy suit? I’m not thinking of Drakes corduroy games/dinner jacket mashup which felt a touch too gimmicky to me, but just a standard SB, 2 button, probably quite softly structured set up.
The combination of stark colour and soft material (plus corduroy’s ability to appear different colours depending on the light) makes me think it would be a great option for the ‘dinner suit’ type of clothing that keeps coming up at the moment.
Have I lost the plot? Or is this a stroke of genius?

I would be worried that black corduroy, especially in fine to medium wales, will register as velvet.

im looking at some buttero boots for sale on yoox and it being yoox...they look differen but it's yoox and their photography so im thinking these are the same coloway as what NMWA has (sadly sold out in my size) but what do you guys think?

Do they give the name of the color? The Buttero color name on ours is "Terra" if that helps. And this is the official Buttero pic for it
