Republicans live rent free in his head 😂. It’s why he stalked me on twitter and blocked me even though I had no idea he even had a twitter! I only found out because someone on the on going bespoke thread linked it & it wouldn’t load.
There are extensions that allow you to just block everyone who follows certain accounts or has liked certain posts. He most certainly has never even visited your twitter page.

Extensions? He seemed to know a lot about me from my interactions with him on the boards. Does that also extend to blocking on styleforum? Because I’m honorably blocked by him on styleforum too.

Either way, you’re saying, not only does he randomly tweet at Rudy guliani, he has him blocked as well? Dude just keeps getting better & better.

Hey,

I’ve been umming and ahhhing about getting some jewelry.

Little context: I’ve never owned a necklace, or a ring for that matter, and I’m originally from a place where the prevailing opinion is that fellas don’t wear them.

Second point doesn’t really matter other than not having any social cues about what to wear and how to wear it.

Anyway, I saw Dericks post and decided to pull the trigger. I’m after a necklace and pendant (two, one silver, one gold).

I’m already set on chains: a 3mm Franco (probably pick it up on my next trip to Florida) and, for something to alternate it with, a silver ball chain also 3mm. Both 22”inch. What I’m somewhat lost with are pendants. I’m not catholic so it’d feel odd having a saint around my neck (are others of the same opinion?).

I’ve been looking into old Roman coins and charms with old Roman glass. While a few things have caught my eye nothings really stood out. So, what else do people have hanging?

I would leave jewelry to women.

seems extremely arbitrary...in the age of cellphones watches are most certainly a piece of conspicuous jewelry, same thing with wedding rings.

At that point, what's the difference between a watch and a bracelet...or a wedding ring, class ring, or signet ring

A substantial one. And yes, pretty arbitrary.

I don't consider wedding rings as jewelry. They are allowed, of course.

I don't mean to be pedantic, but how is a wedding ring not a piece of jewelry...how is something classed as jewelry when I wear it unmarried but the exact same thing classed as something else when I wear it as married?

Its a piece of jewelry with a specific meaning, the same way a St. Christophers medal necklace is...they're jewelry with a specific meaning/symbolism, but that meaning doesn't mean they aren't jewelry

at this point 99.9% of people wear a watch either due to the fact that they like how it looks on them or to show off their status via conspicuous consumption - a watch at this point serves the same role as jewelry at this point.

As it was said, a watch is the only piece of jewelery a gentleman is allowed to wear. Of course, it's just my personal opinion and, as I admitted, certainly arbitrary.
