Derek recommed double knee pants so I post here. This is double knee pants from L.E.J, the length is a bit too long for me. I am thinking about shorten it 1 to 1.5 inches or return it. In second pic the patch maybe too low and look weird?

Length looks great man, wouldn't get them hemmed. Denim will probably shrink an inch or so in a wash anyway.

I've seen Luke, who runs L.E.J wear sleek chelseas/loafers with those on his insta a few times. I get that it seems counter to the idea of a double knee to wear it with stereotypically "city" shoes, but to me it works really well.

I mean, look at these two!

It might be the angle but I don’t really understand how these could be too long. They don’t even break at all, and they haven’t been washed yet.

I think they look dope btw. Love the tacks on the LEJ double knees instead of rivets.

Dislike.

The horizontal stitching clashes with the vertical lines of the leg.

I tried on double knee denim at the Farm & Fleet as a kid. I disliked the increased stiffness in the knee and made a point to avoid them thereafter. But maybe if they aren’t actually work wear they are softer or more flexible.

This will make a good dieworkmeme ☺

Can someone please redline the pic of the pants for a Perfect Timeless Gentlemanly Style Silhouette (tm)?

anyone have req's on some good lightweight (linen/cotton blend i guess) overshirts? i tried the doppiaa one but sadly the sleeve opening was crazy tight, but ideally something similar to that

Luca Avitabile makes an excellent linen overshirt in several colors, with side pockets and an inside pocket. Not inexpensive but not crazy either. My favorite overshirt for hot weather. Sleeves are wide enough so I can roll them up comfortably, yet trim enough to look good down as well.
