where was this posted?

I've been off StyleForm for about a week because I think I need a break from this site. But wanted to log in to thank you for resurrecting this thread. I really enjoyed reading through all of it. The posts from Vox, Manton, Tuttee, JefferyD, Sator, and many others really strike a contrast to what StyleForum has become today. I know I've beaten this drum too many times and many people are sick of hearing it. But I really feel there's a stark contrast between old threads and current threads.

Are you going to do a cold weather sportcoat guide @dieworkwear ? Would you recomend a flannel sportcoat?
He said he was going to do a companion piece to the spring sportcoat guide later in the year. I think I've seen him say flannel SCs are difficult to wear. FWIW I have an A. Moon. navy shetland tweed SC that works great in the winter as a "blue blazer." Probably best to stick with modest tweeds instead of flannel.

Yeah IIRC he said that flannel runs the risk of looking like an orphaned suit jacket. For a cold weather blazer he recommended doeskin.

I am howling laughing at the thought of a +$1k Primus Pork Soda tee. Although it does look like the proceeds went to charity the messed up thing is if that were not the case it’s still entirely plausible to me that this could be the retail price on Mr P and it would still sell out. Who these people are, I have no idea.
