As a noob that hasn't handled this stuff in person, this thread seems like a decent way to learn more about stuff. Also, kelvin, you shouldn't put knits on hangers to take pics (or to store, obviously). I think it really screws with the shape/drape/look even more than already cannot be expressed through photos.

edit: decent way to learn b4 teh mag

I'm a huge fan of ervell's stuff, very distinctive and playful. This is a defining example of why i love knits, the color is great, texture, its just a really interesting knit.

I rather want those opaque rubber jackets Ervell showed for 2010 F/W.

I handled some of that stuff "backstage" after his show and it was nicely made.

Speaking of knits, I love my DBSS silk/mohair cardi. Delicate but surprisingly warm.
