Just received my suede skate lows. I love them. They are the new favourite of my 4 cp's.

Sizing wise they fit TTS (I went 44). I googled a little bit and some listings had mentioned they fit TTS compared to the Achilles (43). I'm positive of this as there is a bulkier lining inside and the last is most definitely different. A 44 Achilles is unwearable for me for example.

Took some quick shots with my phone. Loving the texture.

@grayfox Those look really good! During winter sales season I considered buying a pair that were on a really deep discount (something like 75% off), but something about the product shots made them look unappealing. Your pictures have made me regret not picking them up!

Now you couldn't have made that post a few days earlier while they were still in stock at Ssense haha

All 45s. Training boots bottom right are 12 years old, still going. My last post on here was retiring 10 year old Mids (see below) which I sold on Grailed to someone who was using them for an art project. Pretty much bombproof.

This is brand loyalty. Can you show us more detail of your combat boots?

Considering getting an all black Achilles pair. Brand new unworn for under $200. Friend of a friend is selling . Is this a good deal?

Edit: just did some quick reading of the past posts on this thread. lol the fake hysteria! I didn't know that the counterfeit market was so big on these apparently. People on reddit even ask if getting from SSENSE or Mrporter is legit lol. And the fact that, so far from what I have read, no one can tell the difference makes it more amusing.

are you considering them cause you actually like them, or only cause it's a good deal?

Just ordered my first pair of CM shoes (1528 0506). I don't have any experience with quality leather sneakers, normally I wear high quality British leather dress shoes and keep them in great condition by using shoe trees and conditioning them.

I am curious what the best way is to maintain the uppers of CM sneakers and what is the best way to keep them in good condition during their lifetime.
- Are the uppers actually made from full grain or corrected grain leather?
- Does the leather actually need to be conditioned with a leather conditioning lotion from time to time in order to keep the leather in good condition, or will conditioning lotion if applied not be absorbed because the leather is such (corrected grain) that it won't absorb it?

Do you guys protect your Chelseas before wear with Jason markk repel or anything similar? Does it darken the suede?
