Planning on picking up the black shine derbies. Does anyone know the difference between the 1859 and 2133 models, if any?

2133 is newer and includes the black welt models. I could be wrong but seems like the 2133 has more of a true black crepe sole versus the grayish sole on the 1859, doesn't seem to be any other obvious differences. I haven't handled 2133 so can't comment if the crepe is of similar material.

On another note, keeping derby shines in a freezing garage is a terrible idea if you want them readily accessible. The other morning when I threw them on the plasticky leather was super hard and sharp, cutting into my ankles and the crepe was frozen solid and would barely bend. Would put them in storage next winter.

I have put my foot down and decided to jump on CP's bandwagon. :colgate:
Where is the best place to buy CP Achilles Low in white?

If you're looking for the best deal with the least amount of effort, Tres Bien deducts VAT from them and regularly offers coupons via email for money or a small percentage off purchases. If you sign up for their email and monitor when that happens, you can generally save 30% off.

EDIT: it looks like they're sold out now.

is Mr P the only spot with the “1842” tumbled b-balls? Do they actually ship 1842 or just have them pictured and send the most recent ones?

You're correct only Mr Porter now have the 1842 in stock. They are an old model now long sold out everywhere else.

And yes if you buy them they send you the 1842.

i just got a pair - the sizing is very off. i don't think they'll work for me so i'm returning them.

i really need a 2128 in 41!
haha uh oh, what fits differently about the 2128. Don’t take the same size as achilles?

1842 is at least one size if not 1.5-2.0 sizes smaller than the 2128 and the newer models. the newer models are aligned with the achilles (so i would be a 41 in each and a 40 or 39 in 1842)

wow thanks! I’m a 39 in achilles so i guess 1842 is out of the question then :(

Everyone's feet are different and everyone has a different ideal of fitting.

But I'm a 41 in Achilles and the size 40 fit me perfectly.

Yes 100% legit. I bought BBalls from there last year.
thanks! first pair of b-balls purchased. Managed to grab the last size and couldn’t be happier with the price
