Get them now. Worth it.
A lot more places order then this season than last FW but I still wouldn't wait around for them, $500-ish is a good price already.
I bought my tans last year for retail ($720) and charcoal this season for $610

Returned it though because I thought consumerism was terrible for my soul. Regret it now though because my soul is completely vacant.

Yeah that was a store return in an isolated size though, that's how I rebought my tans (for about $250).
Don't rely on being that lucky. Under $500 is a really good price and you don't have to bank on luck

Yes those are the "Rec shoes". Haven't seen them this season. Maybe they are "Rec derbies", I dunno, "Rec" something.

Those rec shoes (i think some places called them the "new rec shoe) with the oxford lacing were only available for 1 season iirc. They look way better and nothing like the old rec shoe which had derby style lacing and was really long and low cut. Very similar to some old dvn sneakers:

They look really nice. Reminds me of some of the Prada/Lanvin smart casual sneakers. I could see them being very versatile.

I tried on an achilles low. 42 seemed good, perhaps a little long. 41 was good length, felt very tight on pinky toes. Is this acceptable? If i decided on retro instead, should i stick with 41 or go further down to 40?

Are there any that are like the CP laces in size/shape? Also looking for GAT replica laces.

I think it is worth to check some of those popular sneaker laces companies. They mostly have some rope laces in almost all possible patterns and colors but most of the also offer, normal flat laces, also in premium waxed or leather option. and they are not that expensive tho.

This is first search I gor: http://www.ropelacesupply.com/product/flat-wax-laces
