There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Anyone here invest in the cp leather goods (bags, wallets, etc.)? I just got ahold of one of the older backpack models in black and it is amazing. The newer ones are nice, but I don't like the Saffiano leather that's used on them (doesn't age as nicely), and the "common projects" name above the numbers is a bit uneccessary in my opinion. Hopefully they ditch the Saffiano for the next batch, because I wouldn't mind getting a black duffle to match.

Saffiano leather is for SS17 - is that correct? Not a big fan of it TBH - Paul Smith have used extensively for wallets and other leather goods.

Can you post some pictures up of your bag, would be interesting to see it?

It's that model. Less branding, nicer leather IMO. I'm in love.

I specifically wanted the older model, so I'm happy I got a new one. Don't think I would have bought one of the new ones if it was my only option.

Does the WOMAN by COMMON PROJECTS sizing or design differ from the men's line? For example, would a 41 in a WOMEN be any different in fit or finish than a "men's" shoe?

I have the achilles low in both mens and womens and the sizing is the same so you should be pretty safe with that model. I couldn't find any differences apart from the label inside the shoe (woman didn't have the gold writing, but it was debossed instead.

are they really the exact same?

    like, the shape and everything?

just the label on the insole is the only difference?

Oh the style code is also different if that bothers you. Here are comparison photos. The pink ones are woman by common projects.

Can't wait for fit pics to show up: French marine tees (St. James), salmon shorts, blush pink CP lows out in the New England summer.

TIL: what debossing is, how it is different from embossing, and why it would have been incorrect for me to resort to using "embossing" to characterize what's going on on a CP shoe, because it's clearly debossing.

@ambyance don't see anything wrong with those retros (also have a pair and they were fine).

Just got my first pair of CP's. They are the Achilles Retro in size 42. My biggest concern was the width in the toe box as everyone says they fit pretty narrow. My foot is 9.5E on the Brannock scale. All I can say is thank God I did not get the 43's. The 42's seem a little long but fit fine in the toe box area. However, the instep are is pretty tight and I do not believe the laces close properly. Let me know if you guys think the instep area will stretch out so the laces close evenly. Here are pics:

Laces don't close evenly due to high instep. Will this stretch out?

This is where my big toe sits in the size 42 Retro's. This is borderline too long IMO. What do you think?

These look too small. I'm not sure if it's the angle, but they look small on your legs.

@Heatmiser Looks fine to me. If you go up a size you might end up with heel slippage.
