Regarding sizing questions, I am typically a US 8.5 in Nike, New Balance, etc. and have settled on a size 40 for the Achilles and the Bball, so I essentially size down one as most recommend.

Regarding comparing the Achilles footprint/last to the Bball footprint/last, as most have stated, the Bball definitely wears bigger in the forefoot but not enough for me to wear different sizes in both. I tried that before by sizing up to a 41 in the Achilles, and it was way too long for my liking. I would describe my feet as a normal width, above average arch, and slightly narrow heel.

I'm now going to grab a nubuck pair in the Achilles or the Bball in either grey, tan, or nude/beige. Any recommendations/preferences?

Does it have to be nubuck? I don't mind nubuck in darker colors, but not so in the lighter colors.

No, it doesn't have to be. I was just thinking something different. I definitely want something for s/s, so any other recommendations?

Actually, just looked at the light colored nubucks on End. They don't look bad after all. I would prefer regular suede though. Any of the neutral colors you mentioned are fine. For me, I would do grey, beige, and tan in that order. They are all fairly interchangeable.

I typically prefer suede as well (although they aren't that much different IMO), but it looks like CP has gone the nubuck route for the new s/s models.

Air Force 1? AF1s don't fit like most of the Nikes.
nah i would be a 7.5 in AF1, i guess i’m 7.5-8 in Nike’s/Jordan’s. 40 works but too long. 39 started tight but stretched to perfection. I also prefer my shoes snug. While others don’t. haha too many variables when it comes to sizing

How does one tell real v. Fake? I haven’t bought CPs for sometime, and all my previous pairs have the gold number indented (Achilles mid, Chelsea’s)...however I just got a pair of Achilles low and the number is not indented...but the shoes otherwise look and feel authentic to me. Are the newer pairs being made like this? Any other identifiers? Here are some pics

Planning on picking up the black shine derbies. Does anyone know the difference between the 1859 and 2133 models, if any?
