Great thread!

Thanks for starting this.

Any thoughts on overcoats by Pringle of Scotland?

There are some nice looking ones on sale online and I would love to hear a view on quality, warmth, durability.... (& of course style)

Thanks

I was fortunate enough to spend some time with Mo Azam, the son of Mohammad Azam, who owns Grenfell, at their booth at the MRket trade show a few weeks ago here in NYC. Some really great stuff on display - classic overcoats of Grenfell cloth abounded, but some of their streetwear stuff for the Japanese market was just amazing!

It's really weird that the sleeve seam on that Caruso runs down the outside of the sleeve.

^ Didn't notice that until you pointed it out. In general, how much are bespoke overcoats if you source the fabric yourself?

Hey Gents,

I am thinking of getting this overcoat. I like the style - just with it was a bit darker/charcoal and wanted to hear peoples' views. Seems like it could be a good 10 year+ overcoat and warm.

I apologize for the small images - is there any way to save these images bigger?! They dont expand well....

Yeah, absolutely no way to give any advice based on those microscopic images.
