Really loved it. Would selfishly prefer that menswear took the same direction under a more unified brand.

Really hoping he can hit a point where he can merge the eboy style with the elegance of the French upper class for the menswear. He already shown he can, sequin capes and ruffled collared shirts both have an air of aristocracy in certain ways. But feels like it hasn't been blended as well as the womenswear collections as of late. Even SS21 womenswear on the track was more of an "egirl" style but was able to still have an aura of being chic.

Winter sale is up on the UK website. Nothing I want. The grey cashmere crew neck is available in M and the single monk jacnos, but I already have both of those anyway.

Side note from my SS22 ramblings, since the US webstore still doesn't have it up, does anyone remember when the US sale starts? And since the UK sale didn't include any, should I not expect any TKP items to be on sale? Seemed like the only things available were TDK items.

Might visit the Madison store tomorrow to check out what CC pieces they have in stock and to try to gauge an idea from the SA if any of the last pieces of TDK I wanted will be on sale.

Can do without the camo and tracksuits. I also thought the use of Lisa in the show and the latest fragrance campaign to be too celeb-centric for Hedi. I get that Lisa sells but don't really need to see her everywhere

It looks like Peter Utz has wiped his IG clean without any new stories promoting the latest show. I wonder if he's still involved with the brand?

Finally, the styling of cosmic cruiser for MrPorter is tragic. A sign of defeat.

I want to agree with you but on the other hand how would you style these jeans in a flattering way? Seems like a lost cause honestly.

Disagree that the womenswear doesn't have a statement (albeit smaller) on this. A woman wearing camo pants is still absolutely wild to me.

Yeh, I mean more about the presentation. The yacht, the setting. It was little jetset looking. It's a good collection though.

Looking through it's stronger than the men's collection, previously I've actually thought the men's collections (TDK and TKP) were stronger than the women's (contrary to a lot of others here, granted!)

I like that leopard print jacket, though. And I don't mind their CC styling when they use slim pants instead of the elephant pants.

Pretty interesting analysis at how to intrepret the constant cuts combined with the use of celebs. Although I agree it's annoying from the point of view of I just want to look at the clothing. I like the grandeur of the videos, though, and would just wish they would release photos the same day as the video. Not sure why they would be unable to do so.

The massive amount of cuts in editing reminds me of CoD and Halo montages from ten years ago.
I agree on the Lisa sentiment. It hit slightly different when Hedi was using relatively small artists compared to literally the most popular pop star in the world. Lisa is a perfect fit but women's Celine is maybe getting pidgeonholed too much by overusing her instead of building a bigger world.

I feel like that was attempted with TKP, albeit with a vampiric edge, but I agree. Looking at menswear and womenswear side by side I feel a huge disconnect. These two people would definitely interest me, just in very different ways.
