slim straight denim is the way my friends
I basically only rock 21cm diors or some trousers these days.

Used to love love my skinnies, but I started squatting again and I think slim straight looks way better if your legs arent built like a pipe cleaner

Makes it so you aren't so top heavy

Pretty much skinny jeans or wool trousers. I just rock d02s JE cast 2s or sandro wool trousers on a daily basis. If any unaltered oil stains or scab denim from 2013.2014 pops up in a 31 those would be my next pickups.

New to the brand and thread.

Can anyone comment on the skinny jeans and the fit in comparison to JE Cast 2? I'm looking at the Union wash specifically.

Thanks.

For anyone who has them: how have you sized the slim, regular and skinny C jeans compared to your D02 size?

The "top heavy" issue with skinny jeans is the relation of the hem width to the size of the waist. On the runway the model is wearing a size 27 waist with a 15 cm hem. But I would need a size 30 or 31 in skinny jeans, while the hem is still at 15 cm. That totally screws up the proportional relationship of waist and hem.

That's why I have always worn 17 cm hem jeans, as it will give me the same proportional hem to waist ratio as the skinny jeans does on the runway model.

funkyprez - I went TTS with my Celine skinny jeans in union wash and black denim. They're not too skinny, although the waist fits snug so I wouldn't size if you're looking for saint-laurent skinny. Sizing up would've been a bit too baggy in the top block for me. I like the quality and discreet patch.

Funny I’m already thinking I won’t like TKP because I don’t like ‘night train’ from AV except a piece or two.
