ha, from the States. I find the webstore is updated sporadically but usually there are a few new items and some of the more classic pieces get a full new set of sizes, such as the cashmere sweaters in the essentials collection.
Sir G, are you going to get a belt going with those fits?Oh yes I appropriated my workout room during this pandemic. My video calls mercifully do not look down that far. it’s weirdly grown on me since has that recycled spongey feel to it versus usual office space.
One other quick note, I ordered the Union Wash Skinny Denim. They'll have to be a return, as the fades on the knees do not line up correctly. Otherwise, I loved them. Super comfy fabric and excellent quality - very hefty denim, and I noticed Made in Japan, which I like. The cut was excellent, and not overly long, but again, probably better for someone 5'9"-6'2".
I think I really like the idea of no belt for very minimalistic looks when talking about trousers. I also like no belt when wearing jeans to give off a very carefree casual feeling.Bill that's an astute observation!
The inside scoop is I was a Dior suit wearer so often pre-pandemic that I sort of adopted the adage that if pants fit you correctly, one doesn't need a belt! Also, I've always thought of them (belts) as interrupting one's silhouette. That said, I suppose they could be a useful add, and these days, I'm much more casual, so dressy is a blazer/dress shirt top, slim jeans, often also, leather jacket or varsity jacket (I don't think I can let it go, the Teddy calls to me somehow!) and skinnier jeans, ha.
What is the go-to Celine belt for those types of ensembles? I usually vary between the classic indigo shades and black, of course. I had a Christian Dior belt but I think it literally had the CD (d reversed) as the buckle, so I wore it once and was immediately embarrassed and never wore it again!!

No belt because it gives off a "can't be bothered" casual vibe
