Other than this article I probably haven't looked at it since then either. But I would counter that it's extremely rightwing, it just dresses its politics up in vacuous, nihilist "youth" culture so it looks hip. From what I recall, its main themes were 1) consumption, 2) doing dumb **** because it's cool, 3) laughing at foreigners who do the wrong kind of dumb ****.

Yeah he's long gone. But he's a nazi. It would seem unlikely that the "new" editorial team would turn things around so radically.

Side part

But Hedi has been styling girls with centre parts and bangs since Saint Laurent. I don't really care about side parts or centre parts. Both fine for me.

The riding boots can look cool.. if you ride horses lol..
but those are far easier to pull off imo then the chewy boots:

btw, still no official pics besides the campaign portraits?
Hedi said he'll start releasing them next week. I get why he doesn't want the general public to view the product shots since it betrays the illusion of the narrative. It makes them appear as just clothes with zero story.

That's incredible no campaign photos.

EDIT - saw Thorns' réponse. That's super interesting about the dream versus the individualized pieces. It reminds me of bands such as Tool who insist on their albums being complete works versus streamed as individual songs.

Mugatu I feel similar - I really want to be able to wear those riding boots, but can't seem it happening unless I'm cosplaying a Jane Austin novel or something.

That the 2 button officer blazer? Looks nice. Coincidentally I've been thinking about picking up the navy with gold buttons, 2 button notch lapel 69cm blazer just today. I need more colour in my wardrobe, and was thinking it might work with the union wash jeans Hedi paired with the charcoal blazer himself, thoughts anyone? It will of course still work with black jeans like SS14 anyway.

I took a dip into TikTok and realized there are a lot of obese girls on that platform. I actually have to agree that I would prefer for them to not wear skinny jeans.

Now I'm motivated to do a side by side comparison between the product shots with the corresponding campaign shot just to see what Hedi does for that world building.

You're all very aware of my position on this, so I won't repeat it. But at the same time I'm not about to take style advice from people who until just a few months ago were still dressed by their mom.
