One of Hedi's previous assistants from early Dior Homme, Nicolas Andreas Taralis, with that slimmer silhouette. But even he has strayed from this path in recent collections.

SA looking fresh. Only thing I might edit is shortening his tie. He is standing with a slouching posture so maybe if he stood straight the tie length wouldn't be too long.

However, I think all said and done...I'm leaning towards wanting to stay frozen in time like those geezers wearing the same outdated clothes while everyone moves on.

What kids nowadays want to wear instead. I can appreciate the more relaxed fit makes everything less try hard.

Johnny's suit is definitely more in-line with Hedi's Celine more relaxed silhouette. Not feeling uptight at all. But probably uptight compared to the "normal".

However, I acknowledge that I'm just splitting hairs here. For most people, they all look the same, just black suits.

This also looks the same to most. Just a black suit.

Everyone moving to a move voluminous silhouette, and the mainstream is picking it up.

I'd rather wear the casual baggy tracksuit bottoms and nineties jeans than this kind of tailoring, at least I'd be able to still be attractive to the women I like to date. No way I'm going to spend money for any of that tailoring to just look weird.

If slim tailoring really gets to a point where it looks out of date then I'll probably lose all interest in clothes whatsoever and just go straight fit trousers and classic fitting jackets and coats, and APC type very normal clothes for casual and give clothes no thought anymore.

I agree that the squeezed in to too small sizes look like Hedi in some of those blazers from the DH era is a bit dead. But a lot of the tailoring at Saint Laurent wasn't that slim and was actually quite a classic fit for people with slimmer builds.

I think people wearing oversized blazers/tailoring is just a combination of popular brands like Balenciaga making them huge, and people buying blazers either off the rack or thrifting and saying "*******, this fits fine." People will find a designer blazer for a good price second hand and not be too worried about the fit since they can just sell it again.

This guy looks a lot like rire.
However, walking along this path will get you judged...just like punks back in the day. People will be looking at you and seeing how different you are. But punks with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove relish in the judgement from normies.
