Do you think any of these summer items will drop a bit early, considering how everything is in flux and I imagine the receptivity bodes very well for sales.

BTW - those glasses look like the Black Frame 04s, which is a pretty classic shape but riffs a bit at the top, etc. Strange though, as I do not see the two Celine dots.

I tried those on, but my better half veto'd them as too feminine, ha!

Wouldn’t be surprised if the stores get some pieces in early but I would be surprised if online had much early simply due to advertising listing the specific date

I think a lot of girls wear a similar style but as you said its mostly just the classic wayfarer style which every company on earth has their own version of

The Dancing Kid? No, I think HS is the kind of person who likes to keep you waiting, as it is more exclusive. But I think depending on the reception of SS21, the small collection between AW20/21 and SS21 will be modified to match demand, meaning if SS21 is a hit they will make things like that and if not, release things like in this in-between-season (90s jeans and all the other stuff on the website now)

I don't see the 04 as particularly feminine but unisex for sure. Possibly the new 23 will be better suited for you. Is it snake skin? Don't know, but I'm looking forward to trying them on.

Ask your SA to contact you when the buy book is available. You can select which items you like and they will generally know when the items will arrive. It's different for each category. I suspect more retailers will order from the spring '21 line and the buyer mostly controls what will come to retail. Probably some items could arrive early and some could arrive late due to the pandemic.

From talking with the SA who assists me, Jabba is right. Some pieces will arrive a bit later on due to fallout from the pandemic. Some items have been in store for a few weeks now, other may be in the end of the month, and then some other pieces may be ever a longer of a wait.

I believe the second drop of winter will be online on august 28, according to Facebook posts. I’m talking about items from the more tailored collection (marquis jacket, black tie coat, frilly shirts and hopefully the velvet trimmed coat/blazer from runway, amongst others). It’s the drop in looking forward to most. I don’t know if anything from that capsule is already available, I don’t have any contact at Celine. Would be curious to know if anyone does have more info.

Yes they have stated that New Winter part 2 will be available in store and online by August 28th. Some pieces may be delayed as production is still ongoing. You can always contact the store closest to you and establish a connection with a SA. Demand for luxury good in general is down due to the economic situation so they may only stock items that customers are particularly interested in or pieces they feel will sell based on customer loyalty. Its best to contact your SA or establish one.

Looking forward to seeing the rest of the winter drop, as well as SS21.

The yellow shirt with the subtle(ish) branding looks nice, though the pocket seems a bit low up close (?).... I also like the western belt with the jagged edges this model wore -- it's only currently available in the watersnake version which I wanted mainly due to that detail but given they'll release this plain leather version I think I'd prefer that. This same model also has a very nice choker style chain that is low profile unlike a lot of the ones with by the other models, with a very pretty link design - plus that second chain... basically want half of this one model's look as I think it'd pair great with light wash skinny jeans/boots.

The sequinned palm tree jacket looks cool, though I can't help but wonder where I'd ever flick the switch without looking like a massive twat - maybe at a rave amongst people off their head on md? -- and I'm saying that having bought the sequinned Christian Marclay SS19 piece.

Expect high price points and low stock. its been said that some items will not be produced at all, or very limited, especially the demi-couture pieces. Many items in the collection are upscale with fine detailing (beading, lace). I'm sure the staples will be fine but if there is an item that you want its best to speak up now instead of waiting for items to go online. You're not obligated to buy, you can always try them and purchase what works for you.
