That's a good point, the navy would've been better in my wardrobe, since my outerwear is about 85% black. ;)

Curious - would you find you'd wear it more or any differently if you had the SLP teddy in black/white color way, too?

Yes, same. The navy would also pair better with light or medium wash blue denim imo.

Funny that you are asking. I actually sent back the SLP teddy I snagged at a great price from LVR back during covid because I thought it would be redundant to the Celine jacket. I have since regretted it because I feel I would wear the SLP Teddy in different situations than the Celine. To me, the SLP teddy is significantly more casual. I would wear it a little more loose fitting (not oversized or anything, just a little roomier) as a grab-and-go kind of jacket. The Celine teddy on the other hand - at least to me - feels more refined, dressed up and also a little more extravagant with the silky off white details. I feel like this more meant to be worn in a very fitted, more upscale kind of way. To me it always feels like this piece demands to be the center of the outfit whereas the SLP is a little more muted. It’s difficult to put into words, but maybe this makes sense to you lol.

What's the deal with the code of Lou jeans? Some are M_SL_011 while others are M_SL_012. Is there actually a difference in fit?

Yes, I did omit that little feature that Jonathan Anderson apparently is ready to take the helm. I liked KJ but his silhouette was a bit too spacey and streetwear for me on the whole although he created a multitude of beautiful pieces and I love some of the little things he did such as reinventing the packaging.

Hello, long time listener, first time caller here. I saw that the US site has been updated with some new items from the new SS25 collection (I think they have been posted in this thread previously) ahead of tomorrow's drop. I can see a new leather jacket and a new blue teddy with a C logo and golden buttons.

EDIT: Actually, it seems like the entire drop is now available to see online, though some items are described as 'coming soon' :)

Looks great above.

Was somewhat surprised about the Gucci rumors for notre homme but could be cool and whimsical maybe something different; the sprezzatura could work well. To me it's like the Italian Saint Laurent.

That said, of course, the big caveat is this just another Hedi-to-Chanel rumor.

I personally think that Hedi would be perfect in Burberry, since his personal style would come together with Christopher Bailey "TOM FORD meets military trench coats and punk rock + Dior Homme influence + early indie sleaze/britpop" golden era Burberry Prorsum, and that can definitely revive this half-dead brand. https://wwd.com/fashion-news/fashio...rorsum-mens-rtw-spring-2011-3130775-portrait/

I dont see how Hedi would work in Gucci, Gucci needs much more pumped up sex appeal, Hedi's 'sexy' womenswear peaked between 2013-15 in SLP (like pictures of Kiki Hedi posted recently), and is declining since than, and it was never as opulent as TF stuff, more like a deranged groupie.

Hedi trench coat sounds like a thing.

But I don't like him at either brand. I was rooting for Chanel Homme by Hedi! Oh well. Improbably given the JWA rumors, but next choice would be to see him return to Dior.

Could JW do women's and Heidi do men's?
