Anyone got the new collection boots, wider top? How are they?
I did.

I got what seems like the only size 46 python stamp Hector boot. The shaft is narrow but the larger side gores and heel tab makes them easy to put on relative to the cruiser boots. I haven’t worn them for real yet, just tried them on at home.

This feels exactly like what I do, I have those high heeled ones from wintern and I’m yet to put the foot to the streetz… they’re boxed fresh 😂 but I love em’

Thinking of getting one of the women’s silk scarves to style like that image with the hoodie

Not sure if recency bias and/or some sort of rebellion versus the insipid Hedi to Chanel rumors, but that might've been my favorite collection thus far. I love the lack of logos, the clean lines, the beautiful fabrics, rich colors, and hair. ha.

I always enjoy how he takes the English look and makes it more slim or more French- French people do let me know if you think it’s more French- the pointed shoes the slimmer toes seem very French to me, the English style would be more rounded toes, heavier shoes and wider ties and shirt collars. In fact, some of the looks were very Favourbrook, this is a brand that the brits wear to the races etc. pastel embroidered waistcoats…. Except Heidi’s version of these was more glam and Versailles embroidery, instead of the English version which is stitched in silk and less glitzy. I really like the shoes and the caps

Ha, that’s apropos, since I’m going to a rock (metal) concert tonight and am debating wearing a Hedi leather jacket. It’s flirting with peak leather season temperature wise in the Northeast US, and I’m meeting this band, so thought maybe I’d upgrade my look, however, I also don’t want someone to spill beer on my Celine/YSL piece whatever I choose. I’m not a huge concert guy, so this is the first time I’ve encountered the dilemma.

As an Irish person I can confirm that I've had beer and Guinness spilled on most of my SLP/Celine stuff and its been totally fine provided you're quick to get a damp cloth for wiping!

Also want to say a huge thank you to @ScrubbyDoo who sold me his Tournon Jacket. I had annoyed him for about 2 weeks straight with an endless onslaught of questions regarding fit and measurements. He took fit pics for me, measured everything I asked and never once told me to get lost. I appreciate all the kindness and patience in dealing with me!

I usually wear a Blazer in 46, and Scrubby was selling this blazer in a F38, so was unsure of whether or not it'd fit. It's nearly perfect however the armholes are quite tight, so there's some pinching in my armpit. Thinking a F40 would've been slightly more forgiving. (To be fair, I'm currently about 7kg (14lbs) heavier than usual as I've spent the past year attempting to bulk and put on some muscle. Hoping once I lose the excess fat things will be perfect).

I would love to get peoples opinions though. Does this look too small or can it pass? Has anyone had experience getting armholes widened?
