After reading this thread, I'm hesitant to order Celine boots, I was eyeing Camargue biker boots and low heel drugstore Chelseas, now I don't know. So far I've got only perfume, which I like very much, especially Nightclubbing. Got Dans Paris today
I bought the Carmague last year and never wear them tbh. The heel is too much for everyday wear imo.

I love the low heel drugstore tho. Tried them on in store and the shape is really nice. The leather is a bit plasticky tho (like a plastic cover on top, I guess to have that shiny finish) so no idea how they’ll look worn in

Managed to snag that brown leather blouson that was prominently featured a little while back. I surprisingly love it considering these earlier comments! The leather feels a little more substantial than I expected and the hardware is more robust than I had expected. There is a certain leather effect, I don't know what to call it, 70s sleaze? ha. I'll probably hang onto it, as I don't have anything like it in the collection, the interior feels very luxe too and the inner pockets are useful, outer ones seem more for show/aesthetics. Here are a few quick pics:

That looks good on you man. I love how it was styled on the runway too as mentioned in a recent post; a bit more traditionally Hedi.

I’ve owned several Camargue boots including the bikers and have never had any issues quality wise if that’s your concern. The 40mm is an everyday shoe for me but the slightly taller heel on the biker does feel a little awkward to walk in at first, they’re also notably heavier. That being said I walked like 5 miles in them not too long ago without issue.

@SirGrotius are those denim the union in skinny or slim version? Also, what composition?

Jumping back to the discussion about how things are made one place and finished in another country, is that way Brunello Cucinelli has become such a hot commodity? Because they say everything is made in one place?

I do think that's part of Cucinelli's charm, people feel better knowing little kids in sweatshops were not involved in the making of their blazer, however if that were the selling point then I'd imagine his customers would be better served having clothing made bespoke on Saville row or some heritage Italian atelier for nearly the same price. That way not only do you know where the clothes are made but also exactly where the fabrics are sourced and you are directly involved in the making process itself. Ultimately people buy into designer labels for their aesthetic and/or lifestyle they project. While it's definitely a factor, it'd be cope to say you buy high end designer clothes purely for the quality or ethical practices.

what do you think about that ?
I can’t find those anywhere on the US or French webstore.

I like the details/color of these more and hope (doubt it) they’re real lizard. Seems like it may just be the same embossed leather used on the stamped western belt.

I did manage to get that python belt but never saw any availability for the boots on the US site.

you won't find them on the webstore because they’re exclusive to the store (François 1er for France)

it's not a real lizard for this one because the price would be around 3500€

Do you have to be like a Freemason to be allowed to buy these awesome boots?
Minimum rank of Bishop within the Church of Hedi.

On a side note either YOOX hates me or I’m incredibly unlucky. Tried to order some Dylan’s on my app, mobile website, laptop & work computer. All of them spit me out after pressing “complete order” and now it’s saying they’re out of stock 🫥.
