Here are some of my sizes for other brands and I am hoping you can advise me on Carmina rain:

    UK 7 for Carlos Santos 160, this last is very comfortable;

UK 7.5 for Loake Capital F - shoe is slightly too long but width is perfect.

    thanks in advance

I would take the same size as in Loake Capital last. I feel I have more space in my toes in the Capital than in Rain but I find the fit very similar.

    Hi guys,

I'm a UK 7.5E in C&J's 363 last, any recommendations for a Carmina Rain last?

    Thanks!

I was sized at Leatherfoot and was advised the exact opposite. Going down .5 won't shrink the instep. It'll just push your feet to the end of the toe.

Well that's not very re-assuring...this is their reply:

"Thank you for reaching out to us. The Rain is certainly workable for you; the biggest difference is that you’ll have more room in the instep and a slightly wider heel compared to the Simpson. Most of our customers also size down half from the Simpson to Rain, so you are most likely a 7.5 UK in the Rain. Aesthetically the Rain is slightly softer and less chiseled than the Simpson. Should you have more questions we’d be glad to be of assistance."

    Good morning,

I am getting mixed feedback on carmina sizing. Some say size down one size from US others say 1.5.

    For reference, I wear
    10.5D in AE 65 and 1943 last
9.5e UK in CJ 341 and 335 last.
10.5D Peal co BB 341 Cj
    11d in Nike.

When I placed my order on massdrop I entered in my US size of 10.5 Standard.

    Should I size down?

I think you went with the right size if it is a Rain lasted shoe. Do you know your foot measurements? I also wear a 9.5 UK. You can also try Sizeadvisors, I find it very helpful and @Claus can help you understand how to use it for better results. :fonz:

I take 9.5US D on AE, park avenue & go one full size down to 8.5uk rain carmina. People who are going down one & half most likely have narrow feet.

Since I can't really travel to Spain on a whim, anyone know if Carmina offers anything for a B brannock width at all? Or are they nice and accommodating like the Brits and do one or maybe two foot widths and if you aren't that, GFY?

According to Carmina website, their E is like a US C. They do have available in the Rain last a D option, I think that's narrower.

Where do you see that listed on the site? All I can find is letter indicators of widths available, but no "equivalent" listed anywhere.

There's a "Size Guide" near the size of the shoe.
