Thanks. I appreciate the help. However, every time I go to the Carmina site, the prices go up. Yikes!

Reading the threads here I have always been led to believe that for Carmina you have to go one full size down from your US size for a good fit. I do not find this to be so in my case. I'm a reliable US9D...my feet are of fuller width although they certainly do not look wide...also my right foot is slightly bigger than the left and I feel the vamp area is higher than normal.

I have four pairs of Carmina and the only last in which I sized down by one full size and had no problems was the Inca.

For my other pairs on Rain and Oscar Lasts, I went down by a half size to UK8.5 and the fit is perfect....a UK8 would feel suffocating...do-able but a tad too snug.

This is Oscar in UK8.5: phenomenal shoe and a phenomenal fit.

My thoughts on Forest vs. Oscar: Oscar seems slightly wider (even imagining it as half a size smaller), and has a less tapered toe box (which might be the reason for that perception). Forest seems to have a lower instep. I don't have wide feet, and a UK 8 Forest fits me perfectly. I prefer both the fit and the style of Forest to Oscar.

    hey,

I've read this thread through but am still unaware of my size since I haven't found a common reference point. I am guessing I would be a 6UK in the Rain last.

    I wear:

6.5 UK in the Tricker's Stow
    6UK in Paul Smith
    40 in Margiela
    40 in Jil Sander

I am going to try on the Allen Edmond Park Avenue tonight, but the only references in this thread are to the Alcudia models.

p.s I also do not have wide feet, if that is any help.

I'm a 7.5 in Allen Edmonds and would interested to know what size you would be in the same.

Looking forward to your reply. Thanks!

    My Sizes:

    Forest - 8.5UK
    Rain - 8.5UK
    Inca - 8.5UK (this is a guess)
    AS (Last 53) - 9UK F width
    G&G (TG73) - 9.5UK E width

Spoke to Betty and Rain and Inca fit similarly.

    Hey everyone,

Second post here and hoping to obtain some advice from you all.
I am a size 7uk in C&J 348. Would this equate to a size 7uk in Carmina Inca?

    Thanks in advance

Do you guys know how often Carmina restocks their online store?
I'm looking at a pair of shoes, and they currently out of my size.

No. Its luck if its in stock. You can try calling the stores individually. Or ask Betty when they may be in stock or ask for other options.

I'll add my vote for 10UK. I have shoes on Forest, Rain and Soller last in 10UK (which fit great; also tried Simpson, was 10UK as well), and C&J 341 last in 9.5 UK (that one is quite tight though). I did try Grensons (the cheaper Made in India line I believe), and I was squarely 9.5UK there.

    Hi,

I'm trying to find my size for this gorgeous boots, which come in the Forest last. I wear US 8.5 in all my sneakers (think Adidas Samba), and they fit like a glove.

What should be my size for this Carmina? Size 7?

    Thanks
