Does anyone know how to register on the BBJ online store, to get access to the outlet part?

Also, anyone have any more images of this coat (pretty sure it's from last A/W season) :

This one in the pic is the woman's. The men's has a chest pocket (the one on Yoox I believe has one).

The pic I uploaded was from Yoox, sadly

I love the material: it's a textured wool (100%) which is fairly soft. It seems to be made of fairly substantial yarn. As for warmth, I can't gauge very well, as it was 85 F here today, but I'd say it's somewhere between a blazer and a coat. I imagine it will be good into the 50s, but it's certainly not a winter coat. As for pilling, it's hard to say. Give the number of different fibers, it might pill, but I really have no basis for judgement.

I will also say that the folks at BBJ were very easy to deal with and responsive to all requests, and they shipped lightning-fast.

That fabric is amazing - we are carrying the coat this season (chesterfield shape) and I love the hand of that fabric.

Does the blazer also have that crazy soft sherpa lining in the pocket?

No, it doesn't. They're patch pockets which have the same poly lining that's in the rest of the jacket. I originally was going to get the long coat, which looks amazing, but realized I have almost no opportunities to wear one, then saw the blazer on teh BBJ site.

What size do y’all take in BBJ? TTS on stuff in general or size up? I have a size small jacket that I bought a few years ago that fits well, but these days I see more recommendations for sizing up to a M from stores I trust, even in things like coats. Measurements sometimes help and most of the time don’t.

I have 4 jackets, 2 shirts, 1 sweater & one pair of pants from BBJ. I ordinarily take a small, but am a medium in all of the tops. My memory is that I went with my normal size pants, but would have to double-check to be sure.

Oversized pieces & my kimono shawl notwithstanding, I size up one on tops. I tried one of the jackets and it felt constricting even after sizing up - perhaps it's just not for me.

Pants, I sized up one as well. Haven't tried my usual pant size yet in BBJ, however.

Do you have wider shoulders? The size 1 coverall I have is perfect fit, which is generally my size. Other Japanese brands I tend to size up to a 2, but this being the only BBJ piece I've had, I thought the 1 would be pretty consistent across the brand. I am also only 5'9", Asian, and not particularly broad shoulders, though.

Not a super big deal, but I am just really ******* neurotic and like my sizes in a brand to be consistent across the board (I know that's really, really stupid). The one pair of bottoms I had I think I would've felt more comfortable a size up.

Like most Japanese brands I find sizing can vary a lot. I'm a 44" chest and some pieces in a 4 fit perfectly, one coat fits a little on the slim side, and from looking at measurements on sites I trust other pieces would be too small.
