1. I'd like to announce that animated avatars are now available again. You'll have to reload, but they are once more possible.

We've been doing a ton of work behind the scenes. The site load speed was already under 1/2 of what Huddler's was, on average, and we installed cloudflare, which means that the site should be even faster. A ton more will go on in the weeks and months to come, and some things will be more visibile, and some less.

    Cheers,

    Fok.

I am a 40, and typically a size 3 in BBJ stuff, which is an "L". Jasper wears a 4, I think, and he is a typical 42.

Are 44s generally out of luck when it comes to BBJ?

are there any pictures in their lookbook of someone wearing the quilted sashiko coat? Want to see how it drapes and if it is boxy.

The cotton suede (aka moleskin) atelier coat is my favorite piece this season, very durable yet elegant fabric. Wouldn't be out of place in a Stephan Schneider collection

You could wear a fitted 4. The pieces I have all have slouchy fits.

Summers are always better for me but I really like the vest and the atelier coat too, both something I could wear on a cold day. The fabric on the parma is interesting, but it's true winter.

    Two questions:

    - Does Seilin have sales? I wish I was celebrating the strong dollar [IMG]

    - Any recommended proxy services? Blue Blue ships directly but can't do giff/lower invoices. I'd like to have someone send me the goods instead. Catch me in customs breaking limits.

"Therein in lies the rub" am a true 40 but for the chore coat I had to go with 4 because of my shoulder/chest width the large was to tight.
The fit in the XL is right on and not to "fitted" which I like.

The vest is a different matter, am leaning towards a size 3 in the vest, not sure have a 31/32" waist and don't want extra bulk with a vest through the chest and waist.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Wonder if this will show up at UM etc.

Surprised no one picked up that Mr. Porter listed the Sashiko Chore coat this morning. I have a SS one from 2 years ago and am psyched to give this one a try. Arrives on Monday

The patchwork one is cool. Looks lined this year, right?

Agree that is nice, you get the XL. Picked up the non patch work in June/July and like it a lot.

    Enjoy

Been buying a lot of Blue Blue lately - 5 pairs of pants, all in the slim stretch ankle fit. Proxying is a necessity - the US prices are brutal. I'm usually a L in slim brands and buy a 4

Lovely - I could have been tempted if it wasn't for the brutally small p2p :(

Definitely size up. I'm a small across the board in almost everything, and the medium is a (perfect) slim fit on me.
