Lucked out on a visit to Jester King. Released some bottles of Atrial to go.
Atrial Rubicite by Jester King is currently my most wanted beer. It's hard to find anything from them here in Europe. And such a limited release like them is even harder. I'm already very happy to have two empty bottles of extreme pleasure of SPON.
Nine Locks Pale Ale (Dartmouth, Nova Scotia). This is from the closest brewery to where we are staying. Good stuff. I’ll probably try to visit the brewery in the next few days. My brother in law and his wife and kids live in Dartmouth.

How do you even hear of such an obscure brewery halfway across the world? I’m still discovering new ones with fifty miles of home...
I have a very good ability to know what's good around the world. Also, I'm a user of BeerAdvocate (most users are US-based) and a friend of many well traveled craft beer geeks. So references add up until you want to drink everything from a certain brewery. ? I'm fortunate to drink every once in a while a thing or two from Trillium, Tree House, Tired Hands, Monkish, Jester King, Hill Farmstead, Russian River, etc. And then I'm close (not that close because Portugal is on the far west of Europe) to other great breweries from Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, Spain, France, UK, Italy, etc. Portuguese craft beer scene is also very good.
And for people who are in the industry, or close to that, Jester King is not obscure at all, it's more like an Holy Grail.
I didn't mean for my previous post to come across as negative, or to suggest that Jester King isn't a worthy brewery. Of all the breweries you mentioned in the post above, Jester King is the only one I hadn't heard of before today. That's kind of surprising to me if it is indeed a Grail-worthy brewery. I have several really good beer stores close by, and none carry their beer (are they even available other than at the brewery?? I'm certainly not going to Texas anytime soon.)
Headed to Denver with some friends for a few days, I know there are tons of breweries there, but any must visits (or must avoid)?
It didn't come across as negative, I know what you meant. ?
I really don't know. But I believe they're sold just at the brewery.
