Going to LA for a few days in December. Any reqs on must check out tap rooms and bottle shops? I’ll be staying out in silver lake if that helps...

I haven’t been to La in a year but the Red Lion has a nice Biergarten, and Hyperion has a good happy hour and tap selection usually.

There’s also Frogtown, which is a solid brewery in the area. I can recommend more but I’m not sure how long your stay is.

Sierra Nevada seems almost exotic since I moved from CA to CO. It’s a solid favorite.

Very random selection of recent beers. Got a bit of spring in February so started on the the (D)IPAs...

Lots of nice beers

I was a worried that you hadn't posted for a while and feared that you had taken dry January too far and had dropped off the wagon.

Happily, my concerns were misplaced and you were just holding back on the posting.

Top selection.

imperium-prunum-2019-fot-09.jpg

This year's Imperium Prunum is really really good. Imperial Porter+prune, if you're into black, heavy bier it's really recommended if you can buy it for circa 15$. Outside of PL probably more like 25$.
