I had a Saranac the other day with really lemony taste. It was probably very close to a Mike's Hard Lemonade, but since I've never had the later, I couldn't tell. On a hot summer day, a six pack of the Saranac's lemony beer would do quite nicely. But it wouldn't get anyone buzzed.

Did they make you feel guilty about your chosen profession?

Absolutely. I should have been something more in the public service line, like a monastic brewer.

    When I was younger,

Corona Extra with a lime & mexican food.
I think its the whole marketing "change your hold latitude" thing, and I like the taste of the beer.

    I do enjoy variety too.
My other favorites are European beers.

carona is good but you can't drink too much of it.

    Tough one.

Regular drinking beer? Sapporo. A large one.

Something about that beer with a spicy tuna roll....

If its an occasion of some kind, I go for Belgian. They are the Picasso's of beer brewing.

    Light fare, Stella... good beer.

More sophisticated food, Chimay is great, I'm a sucker for the trappiste fruit beers (so is my wife), a nice dubbel, and I am also a sucker for whitbier (white beer).

Anyone here buy beer online? How have your experiences been?

nope. don't trust online stores to sell fresh beer. i buy from places that sell a lot so the inventory is always new and hasn't been sitting there for months.
