Honestly, is ANY beer $40 good?
Shit's gone cray
Yes, there are many.
I agree that craft pricing has been rising a lot faster than quality as an across the board statement.
Id pay $40 for a few. Not many tho.
Beer events here have become a joke. I don't even go to them anymore
No KBS. No dark horse. No Kuhnhenn.
Hah. Except for your fucking French Toast mead I haven't gone to a lot.
Band of Brewers.... So this is how MillerCoors tries to jump on the (faux) Microbrew bandwagon?
Whatever it is, it's working for now. Batch 19 is placed everywhere here. Doubt it lasts. Just like the Redd's Apple Ale thing. Got placed at practically every place around and now isn't actually selling thru to the consumer.
from the pack jr mouse sent me. nice light session type beer. not a lot of spices and citrus and fruit you would expect from a belgian wit bier
I thought Naked Nun was kind of mediocre. I hope Mouse sent you some Jester King. Their new "El Cedro" cedar aged hoppy ale is tite.
going to have to dig through the fridge to see if i got jester king (i thought it was kind of mediocre too. too light)
Had a bottle of Dogfish Head Chicory Stout last night
Good stuff, but I still don't understand the whole chicory thing...all the crazy people in New Orleans with chicory coffee.
tried goose island madame rose yesterday. rodenbach grand cru is better. going to head back for cherry rye bourbon county stout
I prefer Madame Rose. Where fuck are you getting cherry rye?
Just picked up a sixer of Firestone Walker Union Jack IPA. This just started showing up on shelves around here last week.
for the price i'd rather rodenbach. cherry rye at this bar near port authority in nyc (called beer authority lol run by the rattle n hum guys). gonna split it with nahneun
