1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

One of my all time favorites

Also had an achel tripel recently. Didn't realize tripels can vary in color so much. The achel looked like a quad. The Westmalle looks like a strong golden. Tastes somewhat similar. Has that clove orchard fruit taste

Quick fix... There's no denying this is a Rochefort... Very specific aroma and taste. Good stuff!..

Looks good to me but, then again, all my pics are crappy cell phone pics.

Also, I'll be in Denver next week at this time. Let me know what's a can't miss. I've already got a big beery list, with the highlights so far being: Euclid; Falling Rock; Great Divide; Crooked Stave; Cheeky Monk; Wynkoop; Argonaut; Former Future; Star Bar; Hogshead; and Fresh Craft. Any other recommendations, including for good food, would be appreciated.

And I had the 2011 Cascade Bourbonic Plague tonight. Fantastic beer, but I forgot to take even a crappy cell phone pic of it.

Agreed. Names and label designs aren't really Cascade's strong-suit. Fortunately, what's inside the bottles more than makes up for that.

Didn't like the 61 at all. Festina Peche is quite nice though.

If you ever come across Boon Mariage Parfait geuze, it's much better. Cuvée Rene, well, it's shite... :embar: I'm just saying: if these were you first geuzes (sorry for assuming so if they weren't!), then do try some other ones before making up your mind on whether you like 'm or not!.. :)

They were, I figured they wouldn't be very good considering they were the cheapest option. Tried them to make sure I'd like the style before I started shelling out more money for better bottles. I did like them but they didn't see to be anything special. Going to stick to Lindeman's fruit options. Their peach lambic's is one of my favorites.

I find the lindermans stuff way too sweet. It's like slightly carbonated fruit syrup nominally labelled as beer
