1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

    Layer-zero. Reverse horse.
After failing to find a decent replacement for my stolen Augusta, Eck and JC convinced me to bide the time with some layer (I'd never been a fan from the photos I'd seen).
I have to say I'm incredibly impressed with the leather, construction and fit/shape.
The leather is thick and solid like old school Augusta cordovan.
    Very impressed and very happy

@eton97 always been curious as to why you sold off your tornados? I think I saw you had two pairs in the past.

    Great shoes Eton.

Bought them new? I am wondering what is the price point for Layer-0 especially for used ones; I saw some that goes higher than CCP.

    Thank you.
    Pointy toe issues.
Plus recently I've also been having an issue with the higher heel stack vs Augusta

so just aesthetics, not bad leather or anything.

BTW, where did you get the L0, i don't like reverse leathers much but those blew me away. FWIW if i were to get a workbook with some distressing i'd want L0 or old school cdiem.

    @Eton97,

Nice pickup. Glad you're finally onboard with the L0s. I still love my ankle boots very, very much (and Alessio's aesthetic in general).

But I brought my dual zips on a short tour we just came back from and am happy to report they are breaking in nicely. I've never had an experience like this with footwear so I'm really enjoying it.

Kudos to you and enjoy your new boots.

No. CCP has exceptional leather. Some of the best out there.

I just prefer a rounder toe and lower heel stack. And when it comes to tornadoes, I prefer my a1924 cordovan double zips.

^^ Gratz D! Love the leather on your L0s! The ones i tried ( lace up and back zips 2 years ago) were not as inpressive leather wise ( dry and thin)
