I'm usually fine unless it rains!! Must be the humidity or something making the transfer worse

I have a brand new pair blue watersnake IS derbies if anybody wants a pair.
Why you're selling? I always thought watersnake derbies were awesome. Just was not sure about the shape. I'd buy, but I'm not cool enough. :) Btw, are derbies as comfortable as IS boots?

Kind of a random question but does anybody have a line on where, exactly, these boots and shoes we talk about here get made?

I hear a lot about "they use Guidi leather" here and there. But has anyone here been lucky enough to see (or know anything about) the fabrication process of, say, a pair of A1923 sneakers or CCP Tornadoes?

Would expect the workers get treated pretty well having such a discrete and under-the-radar clientele.

Could be way off-base but figured it's worth a shot asking. I know some peeps in here have the inside scoop on a lot of the goings on.

Thanks.

If any of y'all are interested in a bunch of Devoa, IS, LUC, etc. pieces in small sizes and some footwear in 44 from Augusta, Carpe, and m.a+, I've got a sales thread up here.

A/W things are starting to roll in. Anyone pick anything up yet? Got the super duper limited army heavy cloth suit from Devoa coming in next month, a smattering of IS pieces, a spicy grilled knit from LUC, and finally a pair of the extra-high top sneakers from Simone. Thank you, tax return-san.

Sorry, man. Just moved house and it takes a surprisingly long time to take pictures for 40+ items.

edit: also love the direction Devoa is going with S/S '15. Shirt and pants are on the kop list.

Will those set off a metal detector at the airport? Don't want the TSA up in my boots.
Very interesting; would love a better picture of the boots.
Thanks!

Hey guys,

So I finally received my custom Guidi reverse horse 968s from Munich today.

Very happy with them. They're a bit tight in the calves but I'm sure that will loosen up with wear.

I'm on the fence with the idea of Vibraming. Would anyone just suggest a heel tap?

Thanks again for all your help with my budding collection.

Cheers.

so we have had this conversation a few times. But, the result is that its up to you.

Vibram, rubber soles, easier to resole, gives tread right away
Not vibram, the sole is built to last, soft step as well but leather sole replacement is more expensive

toe/heel taps depends on how you walk. check your other shoes if they wear towards the front/back then you have your answer.

Careful leather soles out the box are slippery.

Thanks. Yeah, I know it's been discussed. But these are the first I've received without nails in the sole and that had made it easier to make a decision.

Probably getting them Vibrammed. Just wanted to check in.
