You should not worry about those on these shoes. I got a brand new pair with some of the nails 'rusty'. They are similar to the rusty metal aglets found on the laces. Here is a pic.

Very cool. Thank you. Definitely would rather have my derbys look like Etons.

So is there a preferred etailer for CCP for peeps in the US?

If you must have a US stockist- Maxfields or Atelier (they are still taking orders). I'd suggest PnP or the The Office Gallery for CCP orders. Yes- I'm based out of the US too.

    Stunning bud.
Looks like we have exactly the same leather and treatment on our boots.
Infact I think the only difference is the zip configuration. Toe shape, shaft height, heel etc etc all look identical.

All I can say is I adore my new boot and either would be fine.

To all of you out there - I've seen the next seasons buy for AW14, and there is NOTHING AS GOOD AS THESE 2 BOOTS.
The single and the double zip are AMAZING.
If you are Eck's sz,DO NOT HESITATE.

Got mine vibramed on Thursday and wore them for the first time today.
    In love......

Interesting did you see the one's I got eck? They're very similar same treatment, but they have a more bulbous toe.

Just a new play on the toe box- yours are reverse calf from Darklands right?

I really like the seamless design.
