Seeing Carpe shoes described as "distressed" is pretty jarring. Most Carpe shoes are pretty damn sleek and clean looking.

The only distressed carpes that I know of are the destroyed horse. Is there a destroyed calf? I've never seen one.

Aren't those the same that Regis has? Argentinian army replica boots or something.

Distressed may be the wrong term, but I think you all know what I meant - they have much less of a 'finished' look than traditional shoes. I was also referring to the whole umbrella of shoes made by former Carpe designers.

they seem to get lumped in with guidi and augusta and stuff here for whatever reason but they're quite different.

I'd say think of CD boots more as having many different leather options rather than distressed. Its kind of like RO leather jackets, they aren't distressed, but they come in a variety of cool leathers. CD/IS/MA+ are more of the clean looking brands/designers for footwear, a1923/ccp/L0 are the distressed looking, guidi are somewhere in the middle due to the leather sock effect

I miss my distressed Carpes... :( Only pair of footwear I sort of regret selling.

    lulz

they were sold to an active forum member, so maybe he'd sell em back...

But my CCP are more comfortable and look better... the CDs took like 5 minutes to put on... that annoyed the shit out of me
