edit: well i guess it doesn't really matter if one store carries them but can someone name some place to try them on

    For NYC:

The ones on Ebay are S23 5 hole lace ups- looks like heavy wax horse (XC01)- the wax has obviously come off.

I just linked the SZ Cdiems; click on the picture.

Thanks - sadly they are a 46 - about 3 sizes too big.

I'm loving the black ones here: http://stylezeitgeist.com/forums/showthread.php?t=13182

Good price? Are they cordovan? There doesn't seem to be ANY creasing for a used shoe... so kinda weird.

EDIT: never mind, I see creases. Still, a great boot IMO. But don't know if that's a good price, the "right" model, etc. because I don't know what else is out there, so to speak.

my brother has a pair of vaz rajan silicon treated reverse horse back zip boots. I must say that they are well made. substantial leather and good hardware. the sole are also very well made. after handling them myself, I can say that they are on par with guidi's standard. I may be wrong, but i think most vaz rajan boots has the double leather sole.

and also great price for them from Antonioli. I really want the pair of derbies on Antonioli, but I have the DD creepers coming.

sizing wise, I'd say true to size. for reference, I'm a 41 in RO, 42 in Guidi, 40-41 in Carpes. and 41 in Vaz. So definitely true to size.

those Vaz's on Antonioli, looks great, and will hold up damn well, judging from feeling the quality of his shoes IRL. I'm a 41, and I could probably squeeze into a 40 if I wanted my shoes to fit snug. Great prices. but not enough dough. :(

yeap same here, i do have the dough for it but idk if thats where i want to drop it.

I really really want a grail black boot with a crazy ass construction that can stand up to kicking a soccer ball (not planning to do that, just an example), i would prefer it to be at the 500 mark and those Vaz are 698. In addition, those Vaz seem like they have similar construction at the sole to the shoto's i just had an issue with, and if thats the case i would steer away from them.
