There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

Does A1923 use YKK zippers or blank ones? This guy on SuFu is selling boots with YKK on one and blanks on the other.

Maybe both? Mine have YKK, I think

Here's the Lien shoes I just picked up

Quality is on par with Jun Hashimoto and KK Attachment, a tier below A1923, CCP, MA+ (and the 123&124 I picked up), etc., but the leather is quite nice - 1.8mm oiled Guidi calf in a black with brown/olive undertones. Will make a good shoe for work.

^looks clean and well made. What made you rank it a tier lower than the usual bunch?

My ranking system is completely arbitrary, but it doesn't have that "wow" factor of a fantastic leather treatment (CCP), handmade "feel" (123&124), or both (A1923). Just like you said, a clean and well-made shoe. Sizing fits a half-size to a size large - I'm usually a 42, rocking the 42s with an insole.

On a sidenote, I decided to give these insoles a try because I needed a lower profile insole than my usual Superfeet greens and I couldn't find any other Superfeet to try on. Basically a tacco leather insole with arch support. Give 'em a try if you need a lower profile than Superfeet, feel quite good now, not sure how long they will last:

Using the same insoles, pretty happy with them. They lasted me about 3 years now and still got some life left in them.

I've been using the thin, white, store bought Dr Scholls for a bit now. They seem fine. Are these more to replace the insole that comes with the shoe (say, the black substantial insole in CCP derbies) or to make a larger size fit a smaller foot or both?

Edit: totally unfamiliar with Superfeet or tacco.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the link nn. I've been looking for insoles with a lower profile (and similar arch support) than Superfeet blues and these look perfect.

My favorite collection from SS15! I want both blazers. The lined one is fully canvassed!
Simone rocking the AW14 side zip. Love the rounder shape of the toe box.

IE jackets look a little too cropped to me, could just be the model though.

I'm still on the hunt for a black jacket in the style of Harnden/A1923 but (retail) prices are

Yep, it's my favourite too. Worth noting that it's Erik's enitre collection for 2014. He doesn't do seasonal.

The four button jacket is top notch. I'm going to get in touch with our man in Munich to work out a little something and see what fabrics are available.

I think think Holger is going with a medium weight wool/ramie blend/unlined for his buy for the shop.

True. But with IE we can always look to special orders...

I know that there are several SF members with little ones, and I don't shop for my son too much, but my wife found these on eBay and I had to insist she get them. I do not plan to wear them at the same time.

I've asked Holger what fabrics are available. I'll let you know when I hear back if you haven't already enquired.

There's a new model of continuous pants I asked on too.
