Go TTS if you have a normal foot, down 1 if you have a low instep. Marsell's are wide but the heel is pretty tight with a low instep.

Can you guys help me add to this list?

Criteria for a good cobbler
-follows instructions well
-has a variety of topy/vibram colors
-preferably family-owned or at least be able to talk directly to the person who will work on your shoes

Checklist when adding topy/vibram to guidi/augusta style shoes
-do not sand down the edges of unfinished soles
-do not polish or condition
-use thin rubbers that do not change the silhouette

I'm really interested in points that are not immediately obvious that a cobbler might miss (ie. do not polish; use thin rubbers)

/\ Big criteria for me is for the cobbler to be local. Lucky to have a few good ones here....

Uzairh, who do you use? Tried a couple of downtown ones, after a few I distances that they don't polish... I get polished boots. Swansons is good, but slow...

check out dave page in fremont...literally stumbled upon him (walk by the store every day for to and from work), but he's legit, particularly for vibram stuff

Try these guys on Cap Hill: http://www.yelp.com/biz/broadway-shoe-repair-seattle
I generally get my soles fixed there and the turnaround is a few hours. Yup!

On the eastside, go to Bailey's in Kirkland. Third generation cobblers. They know their stuff.

Heard good things about this place. Too bad they are closed on the weekends.
