1. And... we're back. You'll notice that all of your images are back as well, as are our beloved emoticons, including the infamous :foo: We have also worked with our server folks and developers to fix the issues that were slowing down the site.

There is still work to be done - the images in existing sigs are not yet linked, for example, and we are working on a way to get the images to load faster - which will improve the performance of the site, especially on the pages with a ton of images, and we will continue to work diligently on that and keep you updated.

hydrogen-1 boots (in california?) uses the same soles as cp. they were a kickstarter project. you can email the owner and see if he will send you a sole, which you can bring to a cobbler

If it does that would be cool to cop new soles for CP.
Truth be told I like the look of my Achilles way more once they got beat than brand new.
Heel drag is becoming a problem though from how much I wear them.

Those white/grey CCP spiral zips are dope.
Want something like that to wear with Saint Laurent skinnies, Rockstar life.

    Are these decent?

Just impulse bought these for $95, always wanted the CP chelsea shoes even if they're kinda ugly, man I hate shoe laces

The leather on mine seems very nice to me, soft yet substantial; though I'm no expert on leather quality. I have the burgundy Hydrogen model. It fits half to one and a half sizes big for me. The insole is a sheet of smooth leather glued onto a superfeet type insole. I think its a decent or good deal for $95.

My only complaints are that the the first time in the rain scattered the dyes, and applying any amount of conditioner would cause the dye to bleed badly onto the cloth. There was one spot on the leather that I rubbed pale while conditioning it so I think the dye job was very shallow. But then again it was my first leather shoe and I may have rubbed too hard. I restored the color using saphir cream and wax and it looks fine. Also, I paid $200 + shipping and import fees to Canada. Not worth $200+ imo but $95 is good. The black shoes probably will not have dye problems. I might buy another pair if their next season goes on sale for about <$100 but I wouldn't spend more than that due to the dye issue (and I gotta save up for Guidi and Augusta :) )

edit: I don't mean to imply that they aren't worth more than $100 though. other than the dye problem, the leather feels very good and the shoe feels well constructetd

I've never seen common projects irl so I cannot really compare the quality.

Definitely caters to tourists, a bit pricier than similar markets in the city, but it's got a unique atmosphere to it so it's worth a stop if you have a night free.

The men's stuff didn't really strike me, but the 3rd floor of Siam Center (by BTS Siam) has shops by Thai designers - the designs and quality are a bit hit or miss, but there is some genuinely creative stuff there. Interesting if just to take a look at what independent fashion designers are doing over there

Sorry I'm not posting anything new, but after going through pretty much the entire image gallery in this thread, I think I can say these two are my favourites:

    - Lace up:

    - Zipped:

    Both pairs are... perfect. [IMG]
